BRADLEY COUNTY EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICE recently acquired two Trek bicycles from Scott’s Bicycles in Cleveland. These bicycles are set up and designed for emergency first response. They will be utilized at community events like the Block party and, on occasion, The Greenway. This addition will not only help the community but will promote good health by giving the EMT’s and paramedics the chance to get some exercise. Scott’s Bicycles played an important role to make the Trek bicycles available. They provided a significant contribution towards the purchase price. The remaining balance was paid for by donations from individuals and businesses within the community. “We have a long list of contributors that have helped with donations to this project. They know who they are and we would like to say thank you to all of them,” said commander Shawn Fairbanks, project organizer.
