BRADLEY CENTRAL standout Jacob Maynard has been named to his second All-State team of the summer as he was honored by the Tennessee Baseball Coaches Association recently. The former Bear outfielder was also chosen for a similar honor by the Tennessee Sports Writers Association last month. Maynard had an impressive .473 batting average and a .564 on base percentage with a third (10 doubles, a triple, four home runs) of his 43 hits going for extra bases, plus he drew 19 free passes in 112 plate appearances. He also drove in 27 runs, while scoring 22 times himself. Banner file photo, JOE CANNON
