Barry E. Bazemore

Department of the Army civilian Barry E. Bazemore has graduated from the U.S. Army War College at Carlisle Barracks, Carlisle, Pa., and earned a master's degree in strategic studies. The college is the Army's senior educational institution.

The 10-month curriculum of the Army's senior officer school is designed to prepare and train officers of all the U.S. military branches of service, foreign military officers, as well as senior civilian officials of federal agencies, to serve in top-level command and staff positions with the U.S. Armed Forces worldwide.

Bazemore is the chief of program integration and training division assigned to the Headquarters of the Department of the Army Cybersecurity Directorate at Fort Belvoir, Va. He has served in federal service for 32 years.

He is the son of Hiram Bazemore of Owl Hollow Trail, McDonald, and son-in-law of Ray Dowling of Hale Road, Hixson, and father of Elizabeth Bazemore of Limit Street, Leavenworth, Kan.

Bazemore graduated in 1977 from Hixson High School and received a bachelor of science in 1981 from United States Military Academy, West Point, N.Y. He earned a master of science in 1988 from Troy State University, Dothan, Ala.
