The Alzheimer’s Association has announced the 2013 Cleveland Walk to End Alzheimer’s Kick-Off Luncheon.

The event will be held Aug. 2 at 11:30 a.m. at Bald-Headed Bistro, located at 201 Keith St.

Any individual or business interested in learning more about the Walk to End Alzheimer’s is invited to attend.

There are three Walk to End Alzheimer’s™ in the Southeast Tennessee area.

The Chattanooga Walk is Saturday, Sept. 21, at the Tennessee Riverpark; the Cleveland Walk is Saturday, Sept. 28, at the Cleveland Greenway; and the Marion County Walk is Saturday, Oct. 12, at Marion County High School and Park.

The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the nation’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, this inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to reclaim the future for millions.
