According to Waller, Carole Searles reported the theft of a portable toilet from the site located on 12th Street in east Cleveland.
The red and white Poly-Portable toilet station had the business logo printed on it.
According to Searles, “American Portables” was labeled on the door of the station.
This was one of two stations which had been placed on the worksite, according to officials.
The portable toilet was valued at $650.
Investigation is continuing.
n A Savage .308-caliber rifle was recovered at a local pawn shop after management at the business discovered it had been reported stolen from another state.
According to the report filed by Detective Rob Wilson of the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division, he was at Southland Pawn & Gun when the serial numbers on the firearm were run through a database.
The firearm had been reported stolen in Indiana.
The person who brought the weapon to the pawn shop stated he had purchased the gun online.
The gun was recovered and taken to the property room at BCSO.
n DVDs, tools and a computer were reportedly taken from a Lynda Circle residence late last week, according to a report filed by deputy Ken Ritenour.
Clara Dills told the deputy she had been in the process of moving from the residence when she discovered the burglary.
Dills returned to her home and found an unlocked door.
A Dell computer, DVDs, a Black & Decker power tool, a floor jack and a ladder were missing from the home.
Dills estimated the items to be valued at $840.
