Cleveland Police are investigating a weekend stabbing incident, according to Lt. Robert Harbison of the Criminal Investigations Division.

The incident occurred Saturday at a location on 15th Street and Wilson Avenue.

The name of the victim and suspect were not immediately available; however, details will be forthcoming as the investigation continues, according to Harbison.

- Bradley County Sheriff’s Office deputy Daniel Watson filed a recovery report regarding a stolen vehicle.

According to his report, the vehicle was a 1991 Lincoln that had been taken from Polk County.

Watson recovered the vehicle at a Hunt Road address.

The vehicle was taken to a local towing company lot.

No value was placed on the vehicle, according to the report.

- Tennessee Highway Patrol will be conducting Drivers License Roadside Safety Checkpoints in Polk County this week.

The checkpoints will be set up in random location in the county.

According to THP officials, checkpoints are an effective means of recognizing the dangers presented to the driving public, by motorists who would violate the drivers license laws of the state.

All scheduled checkpoints are contingent upon weather conditions and manpower availability.

Bradley County deputies will also be performing checkpoints at random locations in the county this week.
