Cleveland Police descended on Rite-Aid Pharmacy Thursday evening after a man reportedly robbed the business at the corner of Mouse Creek Road and Paul Huff Parkway.
Evie West, information officer for CPD, said the man was armed with a weapon.
Criminal Investigations Division is in charge of the investigation.
West couldn’t comment on the type of weapon used or if the robber escaped with drugs or cash, due to the continuing investigation.
The robber was described as being a white male in his early 40s and wearing blue jeans and a checkered shirt.
The suspect was also wearing sunglasses and a blue hat.
Reports indicated the call came in to Bradley County 911 at 8:10 p.m.

- CPD officers combed the area of Michigan Avenue Road Thursday afternoon after a man reportedly fired several gunshots at another person.
Hubert Roark, 32, was eventually taken into custody and an investigation into the incident continues.
According to West, multiple gunshots were fired in the vicinity of other people.
Lt. Mark Gibson of CPD’s Criminal Investigations Division said Roark was believed to have fled the scene.
Officers and Bradley County deputies scoured the area, searching for Roark.
Gibson said Roark was eventually found hiding in the attic of his residence.
Roark was charged with two counts of aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, resisting arrest, unlawful possession of a weapon and theft over $500.
He is being held under no bond at the Bradley County Jail.
