Jeffrey Alan Brewer, 46, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2013, in a Chattanooga hospital.

He was an active member of the Central Church of Christ of Chattanooga and attended the Eastside Church of Christ locally.

He was a talented photographer and enjoyed reading and various types of art. He had a love of the great outdoors. He also enjoyed Bible classes and studying the Scriptures so that he might grow in his knowledge of the Bible. He will be forever remembered for his friendly personality, wit, loyalty and love of God. “For me to live is Christ and to die is gain.” – Philippians 1:21

He was preceded in death by his three grandparents: John H. McConnell Jr. and Turner and Ruth Brewer.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving parents, Jim and Judy Brewer; sister, Jena Brewer; his “Mamaw,” Frances McConnell; special nephew, Parker Morgan; aunts and uncles: Linda Randolph, Ann and Kenneth Rayburn, David and Linda Brewer, Carolyn and Randell Ferguson and Reba Boling; special friends: Susan Simpkins and Shane Robinson; and several extended family members and a host of friends.

A celebration of his life is planned for Sunday, July 7, 2013, at 3 p.m. at Eastside Church of Christ, 252 Wildwood Avenue in Cleveland, with Ministers Jeff Archey, David Schonhoff and Shane Robinson officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Eastside Church of Christ on Sunday from 1:30 p.m. until the 3 p.m. service time.
