The speaker for this week’s Civitan Club meeting was the new executive director of the Museum Center at 5ive Points, Hassan Najjar. He shared his presentation of the new and wonderful changes in process at the museum to allow more of the area artifacts to be exhibited, and he told the club about the exciting August programs entitled “Cleveland Works.” He explained membership opportunities are available online and many perks are being added to the membership packages.

Georgia Gann, project chair, with her committee is collecting items needed by the Harbor House (domestic violence shelter) in Bradley County. Cleveland Civitan club members donated diapers, wipes, bottled water, toiletries, paper items, spiral notebooks, boys socks, and other items listed on the summer request from the Family Resource Agency, who sponsors Harbor House.
