Vicki S. Begtrup, 73, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2013, at a Chattanooga health care facility.

She was of the Baptist faith. She was in medical collection for several years. She was active in the Cleveland Newcomers Club and a member of the First Families of Tennessee.

She was the daughter of the late Victor Fletcher and Myrtle King Fletcher. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Matthew Begtrup; and sister, Patricia Walters.

Survivors include her husband, Raymond Begtrup of Cleveland; three children: Joanne Henning (Neil) of Wanaque, N.J., Gerald Begtrup (Kathy) of Sioux Falls, S.D., and Thomas Begtrup (Lori) of Palm Coast, Fla.; seven grandchildren: James Dillinsky, Katie Begtrup, Adam Begtrup, Samantha Begtrup, Mallory Begtrup, Emily Henning and Gregory Henning; and cousin, Joan Henkel of Fort Wayne, Ind.

Funeral will be conducted Saturday, June 15, 2013, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Caywood officiating. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.

Her family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service Saturday, from noon to 2 p.m.

The family suggests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 6221 Shallowford Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421.
