Roberta Mae “Birdie” Clabough, 77, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday, May 24, 2013, in a local health care facility.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred H. Clabough Sr.; a son, Fred H. Clabough Jr.; and great-grandson, Lane Clabough.

She was retired from M&M Mars with over 14 years of service and was a member of the Brittsville Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Miller and her husband, Terry, of Cleveland; one son, Dale Clabough of Cleveland; grandchildren: Jessi Blackwell of Cleveland, Fred Clabough III of Millersville, Ohio and Baylee Bledsoe of Cleveland; great-grandchildren: Cassidy and Issac Blackwell and Zack and Donnie Dowling.

She was also an adopted grandmother of many people at her church and is also survived by her devoted yorkie, Precious.

A Remembrance of Life service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, May 27, 2013, at the North Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Pastor Ken Purdy, the Rev. Johnny Jones and Bob Smith officiating.

Entombment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens with Nathan Myers, Matt Myers, Josiah Shelton, Bob Smith, Mike Pendergrass and Chris Pendergrass serving as casket bearers.

The family will receive friends tonight from 5 to 9 at the funeral home.
