Paint sprayer reported missing from business

A commercial paint sprayer was reportedly taken from an Urbane Road business.

According to a report filed by deputy Jacob Wallace of the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office, Hoyt Williams of Rayco Painting said someone took the sprayer possibly during the weekend.

The sprayer was identified with company markings and had a 100-foot hose line attached, according to the report.

Williams said all the doors to the building were secured when he arrived to work Monday. There were no apparent signs of forced entry.

According to the report, the sprayer was valued at $2,000.

Investigation is continuing.

- A number of items were damaged on a motorhome parked in the homeowner’s yard.

A report filed by deputy Robert Jones named Ronald Black as the victim.

According to the report, a window and vent cover were broken from the 2003 Fleetwood motorhome. The incident may have occurred during the past two weeks.

Recent rains allowed additional damage to the vehicle.

Vandalism was assessed at $800.

No estimate was available regarding water damage.

- A Broomfield Road resident reported the theft of several firearms and a gaming system.

The theft was reported to Bradley County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday.

According to the report filed by deputy Doug Graham, Jason Bostic said someone broke a window from his vehicle and took four handguns, a rifle, an X-box game system and a Sony DVD player.

The firearm information was entered into the National Crime Information Center computer database. Bostic couldn’t provide serial numbers for all of the property which was valued at $1,725.
