“I reached this milestone by having lots of patience, always being aware of what is around my vehicle and understanding that others will make mistakes,” Earls said. “I’m always prepared to give the right of way to others.”
Earls, who has been with FirstFleet since 1987, drives for the Kroger account out of Cleveland. He and his wife, Alice, have been married for 40 years and have one daughter, three granddaughters and one grandson on the way.
The company said it is “extremely proud of” Earls for becoming the company’s third 3 million mile safe driver.
FirstFleet Inc. was founded in 1986 and has since been providing contract carriage service nationwide.
The company said it employs “only the most qualified drivers with proven experience” and drivers who can build “long-term relationships with their valued clients.”
The company currently has operations based in 29 states, with service to all 48 contiguous states, Canada and Mexico.
