Applications are still being taken for the Polk County 4-H camp. The Polk County 4-H Summer Camp at Camp McCroy will kick off with Teen Camp June 10 to 13 for seventh through 12th-grade 4-H members.

The following week June 17 to 20 will be Junior 4-H Camp for fourth through sixth- grade 4-H members. The cost of these camps is $100.

July 17 to 18 will be Junior Heritage Skills Camp for fourth through sixth-graders. This camp offers campers an opportunity to discover Pioneer Living. The cost of Heritage Camp is $55.

All applications must be made by May 10 to attend camp and the camper has to be a Polk County 4-H member. Applications will not be taken after that date. This includes meals, snacks, field trip, and a 4-H Camp T-shirt. 4-H Camp is a recreational, educational, inspirational experience.

Campers enjoy activities that help develop skills that will remain with them throughout life. Campers also enjoy meeting other campers and building lifetime friendships.
