She was born and was a lifelong resident of McMinn County.
She was a daughter of the late J. Taylor and Minnie Millsaps Williams. She was preceded in death by her sisters: Dona Williams Burns and Hazel Williams Pressley; brothers: Elbert Williams and Grover Williams and one granddaughter.
She was a member of the old Bible Baptist Church of Athens, and more recent years loved the television ministry of First Baptist Church of Cleveland.
Survivors include her son, Dean Ratledge of Rome, Ga.; daughter, Lynn (Sissy) Ratledge of Riceville; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren; two special children in her life ; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2013, in Niota Cemetery with the Rev. Jeff Rogers and the Rev. Steve Morgan officiating.
There will be no formal visitation.
