CMS runs to win over Baylor

The Cleveland Middle School boys track team finished in first place against Baylor, Rhea County and Ringgold, Ga., in a recent meet. The Raiders finished with 58 points. Baylor was second with 41.5.
The Cleveland Middle School boys track team finished in first place against Baylor, Rhea County and Ringgold, Ga., in a recent meet. The Raiders finished with 58 points. Baylor was second with 41.5.

The Clevelad Middle School track track team came out on top in a meet with Baylor recently. The CMS boys finished in first place overcoming the other three teams: Baylor, Rhea County and Ringgold. The boys worked hard to secure first place with a score of 58 with Baylor coming in a tight second with 41.5.

The CMS girls track team came in second place with a score of 40 just behind Baylor. This is the first defeat this year for the girls track team. The Lady Raiders had earlier beaten GPS to stay undefeated.

The CMS track team looks forward to a great finish with their last two meets being at home. The next meet will be against Hunter at Cleveland High School starting at 4:30 p.m.
