Dana Murray Thomas, 66, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2013, in a Chattanooga health care facility.

She was a 28-year employee with Peyton’s Southeastern where she was a supervisor.

She was a member of the New Prospect Cumberland Presbyterian Church, where she served as a director on the Murray Cemetery Association. She was also very artistic, painting and restoring antique furniture.

She was the daughter of the late Gail and Evelyn Murray. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Larry Murray.

She is survived by her sons: Wade Thomas and his wife, Andrea, of Cleveland and Mark Thomas of St. Louis; two grandchildren: Brady and Aiden Thomas; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Remembrance of Life service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 20, 2013, at the North Ocoee Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes with the Rev. Jen Newell officiating.

Interment will follow in the Murray Cemetery in the Prospect Community with Wade and Mark Thomas, Robby Miller, Jason Hildebrand, Gary Bates and Steve Liner serving as casketbearers.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 this evening at the funeral home.
