He was a native of Nassau, Bahamas.
He was a member of the Wildwood Avenue Church of God of Prophecy and retired from Whirlpool.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arlington and Irene Ferguson; wife, Esther Ferguson; son, Anthony Ferguson; and his sister, Rietta Johnson.
He is survived by his sons: Barry Ferguson, Randy Ferguson and Theodore Ferguson: daughters: MacLisa Hall-Hawk, Juanita Morley and Sonji Denise Ferguson-Robinson; sons-in-law: Ulysses Hawk Jr., Willard Morley and Jerry Robinson Sr.; daughters-in law: Sharon, Rhonda and Tamula Ferguson; brothers: Bishop Arthur Ferguson and Brenville Ferguson; sister: Lilly Ferguson; sisters-in-law: Emma Patton, Naomi Lockhart and Barbara Ferguson; grandsons: Omar, and Obafemii Hawk, Devin Ferguson, Charlton Jr., and Marvin Morley, Christian, Brendon, and Anthony Jr. Ferguson, Marquis Smith, Jeremy, Jerry Robinson Jr., and Arlington Ferguson; granddaughters: MonaLisa Hawk, Chandell, and Chanrika Morley, Sharona, Symone Sasshay, Shamaia, and Mikhaila Ferguson, Shanise Robinson; great-granddaughter, London Hawk; a host of other relatives and friends.
The body may be viewed Friday, April 19, 2013, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Patton Funeral Home Chapel, 265 Fair Street S.E. Cleveland.
The family will receive friends Saturday, from 11 a.m. until the funeral service at noon, at Wildwood Avenue Church of God of Prophecy. Bishop Winston Reid will officiate.
Interment will follow at Fort Hill Cemetery.
