Roberta Harle Aenchbacher, 80, of Marietta, Ga., passed away Friday, March 29, 2013, at Tranquility of Kennesaw Mountain.

A memorial service was held 4 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.

She was born July 24, 1932, in Cleveland. She was the daughter of the late Hugh and Lois Staples Harle, pioneer families of Cleveland.

She was a graduate of Bradley Central High School and of the University of Chattanooga, where she was a member of the Kappa Delta Sorority. She was a homemaker and a part-time employee of the Cobb County Board of Elections.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Bill Aenchbacher; three children: Hugh and Chris Aenchbacher of Marietta, Bob and Julie Aenchbacher of Bentonville, Ark., and Amy Aenchbacher of Roswell, Ga.; four grandchildren: Ben Aenchbacher of Chicago, Ill., Sarah Aenchbacher of Marietta, and Hallie and Will Aenchbacher of Bentonville, Ark.; sister, Alice Harle Karling of Marietta; and several nieces and nephews.

She was a loving wife and mother with a great appreciation for nature. She had the ability to grow a beautiful garden that attracted many colorful birds and provided joy for all who came to visit.
