Local Democrats to elect new officers on Saturday

The Bradley County Democratic Party will hold a Biennial Reorganization Convention to elect new leaders Saturday, beginning with registration at 10 a.m. at the Cleveland Bradley County Public Library, 795 Church St. N.E., in the Community Room.

All positions are open for nomination. Doors will close at noon when business, discussions, nominations and elections shall commence. Local Democrats will elect a new chair, two vice chairs, secretary, treasurer and two members-at-large.

Additionally, elections might be held for two executive committee members (one male, one female) from each of the 17 precincts in Bradley County. The meeting will be open for all attendees to express ideas and thoughts about the future.

All Democratic residents who are eligible voters of Bradley County are urged to attend.
