Survivors include his wife, Zora Chastain Hooker; son, Randy Hooker; daughter, Robyn Melton, all of Cleveland; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers: Lester Hooker of Cleveland and Eddie Hooker of Loganville, Ga.; sister, Brenda Hooker Adams of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 7 p.m. today, March 20, 2013, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Rev. James Vaughn officiating.
Interment will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 21, 2013., at Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with military honors.
