The talk by Bass will be held at the Little Theater in the Village Green Town Center at 7:30 p.m. Adult tickets will cost $10 and students’ $5. There will be a limited “Meet and Eat” reception before the evening talk with wine and heavy hors d’oeuvres served. Reservations for the reception and reserved seating to the talk will be $50 per person. For more information, call the library at 472-2163.
Lego Club for tweens age 6 through 11 will meet March 19 at 4:30 p.m. in the Community Room.
Teens “Hooked” group will meet March 21 at 4:30 p.m. to knit and crochet. The yarn will be provided but please bring your own needles. Meet in the Teen Zone located on the second floor. The Teen ‘After Hours’ on March 23 at 7 to 9 p.m. will celebrate Spring Break with snacks and Wii gaming.
A behind-the-scenes tour of the library will be held March 21 at 4 p.m. beginning in the lobby. This 45-minute tour will take you to areas in the library not usually open to the public and explain the workings of your public library. No advanced reservation needed.
The library will be closed March 29 in observance of Good Friday and on March 31 for Easter Sunday. The library will be open on March 30 with regular operating hours.
