Edwards earns TJCAA honors

Cleveland State sophomore right fielder Chase Edwards was named TJCAA Co-Player of the Week for his performance against Southwest Tennessee last weekend.

Edwards was 7-for-14 at the plate, with two doubles, a triple and two home runs in leading the Cougars to a conference series win. On the season Edwards is hitting .459, with 11 doubles, two triples, three home runs and 19 RBIs. He is a leading the team or tied in every offensive category so far this year.
