Edna Mae Visage, 63, a resident of Knoxville passed away Thursday evening, March, 7, 2013, in a Knoxville hospital.

She was the daughter of the late Velma Johnson Visage and Greely Visage. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Walter Eugene Visage; and her sister, Nancy Visage Goins.

She was a very kind and loving person who never met a stranger. She enjoyed drawing and making cakes. She attended Four Point Baptist Church, where her father served as a longtime deacon.

Survivors include her sister, Sharon Visage Jones of Cleveland; her nieces: Teresa Curvin and her husband, Rodney, and Amy Bales and her husband, David, all of Cleveland, Lora Wilson of Ellenboro, N.C., and Ann Young of Forest City, N.C.; her nephew, Bobby Goins and his wife, Schonna, of Cleveland; brother-in-law, Bob Goins of Cleveland; great-nephews: Geoffrey Curvin and Daniel McClain; her great-niece, Hollie Guthrie; and a host of friends at the Open Arms Care Organization, Emory House 9.

A Remembrance of Life service will be held at 3 p.m. today, March 10, 2013, at the Wildwood Avenue Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Pastor Cliff Hudson officiating.

Interment will follow in Delano Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends today from 2 p.m. until the service time at 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
