The Cleveland/Bradley Chamber of Commerce recently held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Sharon’s Adult Day Center of Cleveland. Cutting the ribbon is Sharon Kelly, RN and chief executive officer; April Boozer, assistant executive director; and Elizabeth Hurst, RN. Also on hand were Cleveland Mayor Tom Rowland, Councilman George Poe and Chamber President and CEO Gary Farlow. Chamber ambassadors and staff, along with residents of the day center, were also in attendance. Sharon’s Adult Day Center provides activities and cognitive stimulation during the day for those who are 18 years of age and older who need care while their families are away from home. They also provide special care for those with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia, Parkinson’s disease, stroke and depression. Veterans are also welcome.
