65 Roses 5K will run through historic area

The 65 Roses 5K Road Race, sponsored by Ralph Buckner Funeral Home & Crematory, will kick off the Great Strides activities for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation April 13 at 8:30 a.m.

The first 750 entrants in the 3.1-mile race will receive a HeadSweats hat or visor. Awards will be given for first, second and third-place male and female finishers in 11 separate age divisions.

Race-day packet pick-up begins at 7 a.m. the day of the race.

The course will begin and end at the Paul Conn Student Union Building on the campus of Lee University. The 5K certified course will wind through the Cleveland Historic District and MainStreet Cleveland.

The cost of the race is $27 before April 11 and $32 on race day.
