Third-grade students celebrated citizenship by writing letters to President Obama. They shared their appreciation and offered suggestions of what they would do if they were president.

Dear Mr. President,

Congratulations President Obama! We watched your inauguration at school with Ms. Sears. I wondered what it would be like to be the President. If I was President these would be the rules. I would change, there would be no school on Fridays and Monday and Wednesday would be kids night. Kids would get to decide what to eat and do. President Obama I'm glad you're President. Please write back.

Sincerely,

Alisha Saeed

Dear Mr. President,

Congrats on your second term as President. I think you're a great President. If I was President I would cancel my Mom's work and school and on Monday and Friday so we can spend more time together.

Sincerely,

Jazmin Reyes

Dear Mr. President,

I would like to congratulate you for your second term and I will try to never forget you. Also, if I were President I would have lots of donations for sick and endangered animals.

Sincerely,

Paige Corlew

Dear Mr. President,

Congratulations! If I were President I would give away skateboards.

Sincerely,
