The 2013 Stitches-in-Time Quilt Show is under way at ther Museum Center at 5ive Points through March 9. Among the quilts on display are several by Vicky Kmet. Among her quilts are a Squash Blossom done in 2007, it is a nine-patch quilt; a Giant Dahlia from August 2007; Autumn Leaves, from a design by ann Orr which Kmet saw in a museum near Nashville and “fell in love with it”; Prairie Flowers from 2004; Colonial Cocks Comb, a Kim Diehl design from “Simple Blessings” that took her three years to do; and “Peaceful Time,” a 1800s reproduction from Jo Morton’s book “Remembrance.”
