John Brooks, who had been working on the structure at 125 Cedar Springs Road, told Deputy Kolby Duckett of the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office someone entered the house Monday or Tuesday and took a Craftsman circular saw, a jigsaw and an extension cord. A Stihl chainsaw was also missing from the house.
Brooks said the house had been locked prior to the burglary.
Evidence was left at the scene by the intruders, according to the report. The missing tools were valued at $580.
Investigation is continuing.
n A Nintendo Wii and games were reportedly stolen from a home on Overhead Bridge Road.
Helen M. Goins filed a report with Deputy Tim Mason of the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office.
Her granddaughter, Christina Wilcox, aided Goins in filing a report.
According to the report, Goins and Wilcox arrived home and discovered a game system and games missing.
Detective Rob Wilson of the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division is in charge of the investigation.
According to the report, no signs of forced entry were evident at the home.
The missing games and game system were valued at $130.
n A statewide amber alert has been issued for the Memphis Police Department for 2-month- old Adrian Delk Jr. He is a male with black hair and brown eyes, is 17 inches long, and weighs 15 pounds. He was reportedly taken by his biological father, Adrian Delk Sr., 24, today.
Delk allegedly assaulted the child’s mother, stabbing her multiple times. He fled with the baby in a 2006 silver Nissan Altima with Tennessee registration C0161N.
Delk is a black male with black hair and brown eyes, is 6 feet, 2 inches tall, and weighs 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue shirt and dark pants. Delk reportedly has a history of domestic violence and should be considered armed and dangerous, according to the Amber Alert information.
