She was a member of South Cleveland United Methodist Church.
She was retired from Bell South, where she was employed as supervisor for 36 years. She was also a member of the Telephone Pioneers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John M. Chadwick; parents, Oscar and Alice Wright Mantooth; sister, Myrtle Wattenbarger; and brothers: Jewell Mantooth, Col. William “Bill” Mantooth and Knoble Mantooth.
Survivors include her children: Allison Campbell and husband, Kevin D., of Cleveland and John C. Chadwick of Cleveland; grandchildren: Abbigail Campbell, Kaleb Campbell and Ashlea Chadwick; brother, Randall Mantooth and wife, Velvie, of Cleveland; sister-in-law, Dorris Mantooth of Cleveland; special brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Lamont and Faye Chadwick; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, in the Chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastor Herbert Conley officiating.
Interment will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
Her family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
