She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Womac. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Pearl Casteel; and sisters: Doris Casteel, Francis Bennett, and Faye Fain.
She is survived by her children: Diane Reno and husband, Danny, of Riceville, Sandra Fansler and husband, Homer, of Old Fort, Norma Tatum and husband, Randall, of Calhoun, and Aaron Womac and wife, Ashley, of Calhoun; grandchildren: Richard Fansler and wife, Danita, of McDonald, Michael Fansler and wife, Marsha, of Tennga, Ga., and Lacey Fentress and husband, B.J., of Cleveland: great-grandchildren: Bobby Fentress, Melanie Fentress, Mia Fansler, and Tyler Fansler; sisters: Margaret Holt, Lena Mae Casteel and Georgia Jo Large; brothers: Jim Casteel and wife, Charlotte, William Casteel and wife, Chris; and several nieces, nephews and extended family.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Hiwassee Baptist Church in Calhoun with the Revs. Roy Hogan and Stanley Liner officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
