Crusaders fall to TC Eagles

The Cleveland Christian School girls lost a close game to Tennessee Christian Preparatory School 44-47 Tuesday night.

Carrie Claypoole had an outstanding game, scoring 20 points and grabbing seven rebounds. Acacia Thompson had 15 points, seven steals, five assists and five rebounds. Abigail wooden had six points while Dallas Kellar finished with two points and Emily Sexton scored one.

In the boys’ game, it came down to the final minutes, but the Crusaders lost 56-64. Xavier Jordan scored 31 points and pulled down 29 rebounds for his sixth double-double of the season. Matthew Chambless ended with 13 points, Chris Reynolds scored seven points, Naaman Mowery five and, Briar Lowe one
