Christopher K. Rucker, 55, formerly of Riceville, passed away Jan. 7, 2013, in Shelbyville, Ind.

He was employed with P.J.C. McCPROPT Trucking company and served in the United States National Guard for over 20 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert King and Ada King, and Pearline and David Rucker; sister, Deborah Mack; and brothers, Tracy King and Chad King.

Survivors include his twin sister, Christine (Michael) Watson of Riceville; six sisters: Audrey (Marvin) Conner of Cleveland, Beverly Ward of Chattanooga, Dardrekia King of Chattanooga, Charity King of Bellflower, Calif., Victoria King of Long Beach, Calif., and Wynette King of Long Beach, Calif; four brothers, Herbert (Bev) King of Cleveland, Craig King of Cleveland, Todd King of Oakland, Calif., and Mark King of Long Beach; special niece, Patricia McCleary, fiance Diane Mazzel and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Charleston Cumberland Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Billy Bond officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church from 1 to 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Spring Creek Cemetery, Riceville. All arrangements entrusted to M.D. Dotson and Sons Funeral Home.
