Ina Mae Gibson, 84, of Cleveland, passed away, Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, in a local hospital.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Gibson; son, Donald Wayne Gibson; and parents, Jay Leonard Collins and Annie Spurlin Collins.

She is survived by her daughter, Janice Forsythe and husband, Bryan, of Cleveland; one grandson, Zachary Gibson of Chattanooga; daughter-in-law, Karen Gibson of Chattanooga; four sisters: Pansy Seaborn of Birchwood, Frances Brown and husband, James, of Georgetown, Beth Mooneyham and husband, Earl, and Clara Stinnett and husband, Jerry, all of Cleveland; four brothers: James Leonard Collins and wife, Betty, of Athens, Harold “Buddy” Collins and wife, Mary, of Chouteau, Okla., Paul Collins and wife, Belinda, of Cleveland and Gene Collins and wife, Sue, of Georgetown; devoted uncle, Robert “Ford” Spurlin of Huntsville, Ala.; special friend, Nancy Poteet and loving caregiver, Fay Hall, both of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Earl Farris and Jeff Stinnett officiating.

Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 this evening at the funeral home.
