“Sounds of the Season” will begin on Wednesday and continue each Wednesday until Christmas in the Cleveland Bradley Community Room from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Hot cider will be served while you enjoy a break from work or the holiday rush and listen to seasonal piano music being played by one of our guest pianists. The public is invited to this free library event.

The Scholastic Book Fair will begin Monday and continue through Dec. 10 in the Children’s Room. Each year this book fair brings books for all ages at greatly reduced prices.

Stop by and look and give the gift of reading to someone. Besides books there will be other items that can be used as stocking stuffers. All monies raised from this Book Fair will be used to purchase additional books for our Children’s collection.

The “Tween” movie matinee for December will be showing “Elf the Movie” on Saturday at 11 a.m. This movie is rated PG and is open to all tweens ages 6 through 12.

BonLife Coffee opened at the library Dec. 1. Be sure to stop and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea while visiting your public library.

BonLife uses coffees from farms that produce exceptional quality coffees and also ensures that the farmers are receiving living wages so that they can positively impact the communities in these regions.

The library will be closed on Dec. 24, 25 and 26 in observance of the Christmas holiday and on Jan. 1, 2013, for New Years’s Day.
