Multiple vehicle break-ins reported and investigated

Two vehicles were burglarized while they were parked at a South Lee Highway address.

Deputy Joe Musselwhite of the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office filed a report for Tracey Gorrell, who said someone broke into her car and took a purse which contained personal items and identification, along with a Vivitar digital camera.

The burglary occurred Tuesday between noon and 1 p.m.

Damage and loss were estimated at over $500.

Musselwhite also spoke with Misty Dixon who reported her purse had also been taken from her car. It was parked at 4841 South Lee Highway.

According to the report, the burglary occurred during the same time frame as Gorrell’s incident.

Missing from Dixon’s vehicle was a purse which contained personal items and identification.

Damage and loss were estimated at approximately $500.

Investigation is continuing

n Deputy Matt Landolt filed a report for a resident who also was the victim of a car burglary.

The theft of a phone, clothing, identification cards and electronic items was reported by Melissa Dawn Nash.

Nash said someone broke into her car which had been disabled near Benton Pike and 10th Street.

The driver’s side window had been broken out, according to Landolt’s report.

A driver’s licence belonging to her deceased brother was among items stolen.

Loss and damage were estimated at $905.
