- Kevin Towl of Cleveland Automotive, which is located on Waterlevel Highway, said someone entered his property and took the wheels and tires from a 2007 Ford Expedition.
Towl said the lot where the vehicle was being stored was fenced but someone cut a hole in the fencing to gain entry to the business lot. The theft possibly occurred during the weekend.
The hole which had been cut could have been from a previous incident, according to a report filed by deputy Paul Singleton of the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office.
The wheels and tires were valued at $1,100. Investigation is continuing.
- Deputy Travis Green filed a report for Jim Cross who said someone took an Echo backpack blower from the bed of his truck.
Cross said he thought the blower had been taken approximately one week ago. He checked his home to make sure he had not stored the piece of equipment away prior to contacting law enforcement.
The blower could not be located and Cross filed a report with the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office.
The blower was valued at $400.
