Polk County cross country teams advance to state meet

THE POLK COUNTY girls and boys cross country teams advanced to the state meet in Nashville at Percy Warner Park. The boys placed third in the region and the girls finishes second. It was the first time since 2006 both teams have qualified for the state together.
