The group from Reliance is making its first appearance on the free Opry-style show.
“Jeff and the band have played both the Riverbend and JFest festivals as well as numerous area venues,” said Will Nichols, producer of the popular live show.
“They’ve won the Ultimate Talent Search, The Battle for Christ and J103’s New Artist Showcase.”
The band includes Chris Boyd on drums, Gabriel Bodley on bass guitar, Jeremy Kennemur on guitar, Matt Flowers playing keyboard and Teri Bodley on percussion.
Mitchell Wilson II is their sound, lighting and media engineer.
“Jeff’s heart is focused on seeing people enter into and develop their relationship with Christ,” continued Nichols.
“In addition to his musical career, Jeff has served churches as a youth director and worship leader.”
Also appearing on the Jubilee is award-winning singer-songwriter Elmer Bramlett as well as the Cowboy Church Band and Chorale.
“The Cowboy Jubilee is a come-as-you-are event,” Nichols said, “and is located between Blackburn Road and Blue Springs Road in the Dockery Heights subdivision. A love offering is taken for the headliner.”
