Clevelanders Linda Mullins and Lisa Daubner finished with rounds of 75-67—142 and were second flight champions in the Tennessee state women’s four-ball tournament at Johnson City Country Club. The pair finished tied for fourth place overall.
Maggie Scott and Debbie Durham, of Signal Mountain, finished in the second flight runner-up spot.
Jean Roise and Carole Fuller won the overall championship with a 136 total.
Lett sinks ace
Hugh Lett sunk a hole-in-one on Waterville Golf Course’s No. 2. The 84-year-old hit a 5 wood approximately 150 yards for the impressive feat. The hole-in-one was witnessed by Willard Carroll.
