Joey Thomas Pursley, 59, of Chattanooga, died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012, in a Chattanooga health care facility.
He was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and was born on March 2, 1953. He was a son of the late Eligia Lee and Villa Mae Pursley.
Survivors include his loving wife, Kathryn; sister, Linda Cross Breeden; seven children; and several nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
Interment will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012, in the Ruth Cofer Cemetery.
