He was of the Seventh-day Adventist faith.
He was preceded in death by his father, Terry Brown; sister, Emily Mathers; and grandfather, Robin Mathers.
He is survived by his mother, Ashliegh Mathers of Cleveland; special dad, Denny Catlett; one brother, Patrick Mathers; grandparents: Madelyn Mathers and Ester Brown of Atlanta and Cathleen Callahan; great-grandparents: Nelson and Elizabeth Mathers of El Paso, Texas, and William and Bobbie Queen of Calhoun; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A joint memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. today, Aug. 5, 2012, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home for Shawn and Everett Catlett.
