He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Houston Forgey; sister, Connie Denise Forgey; maternal grandparents, Ollie Dick Vandergriff, Viola Walker Vandergriff and Pearlie Marie Vandergriff.
He enjoyed the outdoors including fishing and camping. He attended Covenant Baptist Church.
Survivors include his mother, Connie Morrison and her husband, Bernard, of Cleveland; sister, Jennifer Marie Forgey of Cleveland; niece, Jessica Nelson; nephews: Ryan Nelson and Roy Crisp, his first wife, Lisa Banther; and his girlfriend, Heather Killen, both of Cleveland; stepchildren: Derek Banther and Kortney Hall; and stepmother, Kathleen Forgey of McDonald; several aunts, and uncles and cousins also survive.
The Remembrance of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 31, 2012, from the Wildwood Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes with the Rev. Ray Higgins officiating.
Interment will follow in the Samples Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 this evening funeral home.
