WestlawNext is the new easy-to-use database for patrons seeking legal information. The computers dedicated to legal research are located in the Law Library section in the Reference Area located on the second floor.

This database provides tutorials which are accessed on the bottom of each page by clicking on the HELP icon.

An online quick-start guide provides tips on how to use WestlawNext Patron Access. Full privacy is provided by WestlawNext as each session is wiped clean after each user.

For more information on the use of these computers, contact the Reference Desk attendant.

The Career Coach will be in the library’s parking lot Monday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This 35-foot bus provided by the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development comes loaded with a mobile computer lab with Internet access.

It is staffed with individuals that can provide assistance on resume writing, interviewing skills and help with your search for employment across the state.

Anyone looking for a job should stop by and see if the Career Coach can help you. There are sign-up sheets located on the second floor of the library at the Reference and Non Fiction Desks for your convenience.

This is the last week of the” Dream Big … Read” summer reading program activities. The movie, “Hook,” will be shown at 2 p.m. on July 25 and Star Gazing Night will be July 26.

Everyone is invited to the park across from the library on Lee University’s campus at Eighth and Ocoee streets. Setup will begin at 8:50 p.m.

Bring chairs, blankets and your telescopes if you want. The library will be closed at 9 p.m. that night.

There will be an e-book workshop for using your Android devices on July 28 from noon to 2 p.m.

This workshop will help you download and use the library’s collection of e-books.

This session is not a class on how to use your device. Call the Non Fiction Desk to reserve a spot for this workshop.

“Night at the Museum” will be shown on July 31 at 7 p.m. as part of the Adult Summer Reading program, “Between the Covers.” All family members are invited to Cleveland Bradley Community Room to enjoy a movie and popcorn.

Geneva Spence was the winner of the $25 Lasater’s gift card for the July drawing of book reviews.

The next drawing will be held Aug. 16. Submit your reviews by Aug. 15 to be entered into the next drawing.
