Magro is the author of “The Door,” which is her doctorate of theology thesis frorm Covington Theological Seminary.
Using the Bible she explains “Christ’s identity as God and man, his life and ministry, his efforts to bring salvation to the world, his purpose in the futrue and his role in the Christian faith as the door into heaven.”
A resident of Chattanooga, Magro attempts to answer questions inspired by talk with teens who had no “knowledge of Jesus either historically or theologically.”
She said even those who knew about Jesus might not have the “full or right story.”
One question she addresses is “if you can go to heaven if you’re just a good person.”
“You have to go through Him,” she said.
“He is the only door,” Magro said. “Of all paths to God, there is only one door — one door to heaven.”
Magro has woven her narrative with personal experiences to “illustrate the working of God.”
The book is published by Crossbook Publishing, the Christian self-publishing division of LifeWay Christian Resources of the Southern Baptist Convention. It is available at online booksellers and will be available soon at local LifeWay stores.
