A native and lifelong resident McMinn County, she was a daughter of the late Taylor and Pearl C. Miller. She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Crabtree; two brothers: J.C. and Kenneth Miller; one grandson, Steven Roderick; and a great-grandson, Nathan Cagle.
She was a member of Valley View Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law: Barbara and Bill Roderick, Margaret Frick and Linda and Taylor Perry, all of Riceville; six grandchildren: Dewayne Monroe, Tammy Lovingood and husband, Jon, Teresa Herald and husband, Brian, Shelia Webb Richardson, Mike Shell and wife, Christi, and Kathy Whitney and husband, Larry; 11 very special great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and special friends, Harold and Mary Ruth Burke.
The family extends appreciation to the staff of Life Care of Cleveland for all their special care and love.
The funeral will be held at 4 p.m. today, June 10, 2012, in the chapel of Ziegler Funeral Home in Athens with the Rev. Joe Davis officiating.
Interment will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in McMinn Memory Gardens.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
