She was surrounded by her family and friends as she drifted off to be with the Lord.
She was born to Roland and Dorothy Millsaps of Robbinsville, N.C., on Aug. 30, 1954.
She was a 1973 graduate of Cleveland High School.
She was a devoted wife and mother and an active member of God’s Gathering Place Baptist Church. She was a dedicated employee who enjoyed a 31-year career at Merck & Co., Inc, formerly Schering-Plough of Cleveland.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Roland Millsaps; mother, Dorothy Brock; and her stepfather, Hoyt Brock.
She is survived by her husband, James Hindman; children: Bianca Hudson, Seth (Bianca) Hindman and Amanda Hindman; siblings: Dwight (Missy) Millsaps, Suzanne (Phillip) Jones, Gary (Becky) Brock and Kenneth (Harriet) Brock; mother-in-law, Billie Davis; sister-in-laws: LuAnn (Warren) Lawson and Laurie (Travis) Wilson; and brother-in-law, Kris (Linda) Davis, all of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews, whom she dearly loved.
A celebration of her life will be held Friday, May 11, 2012, at Candies Creek Baptist Church, 294 Old Eureka Road, Charleston, TN, 37310, where the family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until the service time at 7 p.m.
A graveside service will follow at Tasso Cemetery, Saturday, May 12, at 10 a.m.
Pallbearers will be Matt Nelson, David Moore, Chris Lowe, Matt Jenne, Kris Davis and Hunter Davis.
