A solid team performance could describe the effort of the boys teams. Ocoee got the win with a 162 (OMS) -184 (Chatt. Christian) -230 (Athens) victory over the visitors.
Dylan Lillard led the strong effort, pacing the Colts with a 37. Cory Rollins and Baylor McGowan each added 41s and Austin Norman, Nick McCracken, and Parker Gray each scored in the low 40s.
“The eighth graders really stepped up and led the way today” said coach Corey Limburg. “I was especially proud of the two sixth grade boys showing a lot of poise in their first match.”
The teams waste no time jumping back into competition, hosting cross town rival Cleveland Middle and Chilhowee Middle at Chatata Valley on Wednesday.
