BUTLER MEMORIAL GOLF TOURNAMENT

The annual Stanley Butler Memorial Golf Tournament has been rescheduled for Sept. 21 at The Chatata Valley Golf Club. The event is hosted by the Lee University Athletic Department and was first scheduled for May, but had to be rescheduled after tornadoes damaged the golf course and left several areas of Bradley County seeking to rebuild or repair major from the deadly storms. While several teams are already in place, there are openings for 4-man teams and individual players who are seeking to group with others to form teams and enter the select-shot, 18-hole event. Registration will begin at 11 a.m. Lunch will be served at noon and the shotgun start proceeds at 1 p.m. For more information or to pick up your registration form, please contact the Lee athletic office at 614-8440 or reach coach Maupin at (423) 310-5427.
