She was a member of Bancroft Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Scoggins Jr.; parents, Homer and Nora Faulkenberry LeRoy; brothers: Homer LeRoy Jr., Raymond LeRoy and Billy Joe LeRoy; and a sister, Ann Lewis.
Survivors include her son, Eddie Scoggins; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Lawrence Franklin “Dick” LeRoy of Cleveland and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 3, 2011, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Sears officiating.
Interment will follow in Mount Olive Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 this evening at the funeral home.
